We are delighted to announce that Kali Healthcare has been awarded a $2.65 million CRC-P grant!
This funding will accelerate the development of our wearable AI-enabled device for pregnancy monitoring, in collaboration with our project partners Neo-Bionica and the University of Melbourne.
Annually, more than 2,000 families in Australia, and 2 million worldwide experience the heartbreak of stillbirth. This project will develop a novel wearable device integrated with an internet-based portal for clinicians to remotely monitor the fetal heart rate (FHR) within hospitals, clinics and homes. The technology will be designed for clinicians to safely, accurately and cost-effectively identify complications in late-stage pregnancy and labour to prevent stillbirth. This industry-research collaboration will complete the device development, progress clinical trials, finalise submissions for TGA/FDA clearance, and demonstrate novel predictive capabilities for pregnancy complications.
We would like to thank the Australian Government for their backing of our project, and the ongoing support of the CRC-P program to build our local MedTech industry.
